I make pottery to bring beauty into everyday life. I create functional pieces that serve a basic need as well as encouraging a little attention and care. The process of creating pottery keeps me energised and grounded, and I feel so lucky to do it every day.

I work from my home studio in Island Bay, Pōneke Wellington. I use a variety of clays from Aotearoa, thrown using a manual kick wheel. I’m always experimenting with new forms, glazes and patterns. It’s my goal to make pieces that really represent me and my values, and in doing so serve a need in the community for handmade, friendly and useful objects.
